I think 4-2 Canes. But 3 of their goals come from the PP and one empty netter.

That would be the idea. I dont think he aas ever meant to be a long term piece for this team. Give him a chance, get him going then move him for other assets.

That's my issue with it too. The guys that are playing haven't done anything to deserve being sat down.

Why are they showcasing a player who know one wanted .....I have loved pretty much every way Hartley has handled things with the kids but player a guy who has done zero to earn a spot and looks like crap out there over someone who is busting his nut just seems wrong and counterproductive to me

I think 1 goal on 15 shots isn't really considered phenom mode

But I'll take the 3-1 tho

I think its a low risk gamble. If he turns out you can flip him. If not then you can part ways at the end of the year. I also think MGMT does not want to ice too many rookies at any given time.

Amen brother

One question tho ....on the tying goal against Tampa ...did we have a chance to get it out and someone couldn't chip in out ...which resulted in the goal ...or did that just result in a face off in our end ? Did the goal come off a lost face off ?

If the First part is true than the player responsible could be sat ....but I still think he would do better than seto

Yeah I can see your point ...I guess seeing him out there just leaves a bad taste in my mouth ...maybe just put him on the 4th line or something

Yeah, but it posses the question, how long will his tryout last? 10 games, 20 games……at some point you gotta make room for the youngens.

I think he has to either produce points or else show a high level of effort

If neither are happening I say send him packing after ten

Carolina could be taken lightly due to injuries but Semin, Skinner, Tlusty, Lindholm can all cause damage. Ward has had issues in the recent past but can still steal a game here and there. If the Flames take them lightly it could go south very quick.

These games with two kinda crappy teams can sometime be very entertaining games though so let's hope for that. I'm excited for Raymond/Backlund/Gaudreau again. That line has something going on.
